The Prince Rock Dog Training and Agility Club is 30 years old!

To celebrate this fantastic achievement, we invited past and present trainers and members to join us at The Ship's Tavern, Elburton on Saturday 26th October for a meal.

We raised £230 from donations received on the night for Hounds for Heros.

Obedience and Agility Display - Saturday 21st September 2013

We were asked to give a display support a Guide Dogs for the Blind Event held at the Life Centre, Central Park, Plymouth

Despite the weather being drizzly, lots of members attended and had fun on the agility equipment and then Judith put them through their paces with obedience.  Lots of people watched us from the sidelines, so it was a very successful event.  Thanks must go to all who took part, and helped with the loading and unloading of the lorry.

PDEC Family Horse and Dog Show, Staddiscombe - Sunday 11th August 2013

The show was held on a huge field in Staddicombe and we were lucky to be situated near the entrance.

Club members joined us and many hands made light work of putting the marquee up and unloading and loading the agility equipment from the lorry loaned to us by Ryearch Ltd.

The obedience and agility displays were a huge success and club members had a good time.

Special thanks must go to Tony with Harry, Alan and Suzanne with Rosie, Ann with Casper, Cath with Casper, Pam with Brooke, Angela with Mac for all  their help, and of course to Liz, Lou, Jenny, Judith, Martin and Dave Committee members who are all volunteers. The dogs were not distraced by the horses adjacent to them, even when one small horse ran amok !

Horse and Dog Show, Newton Downs, Nr Newton Ferrers - Saturday 3rd August 2013

We had a very successful obedience and agility demonstration on saturday.  The sun came out and Judith put the dogs and owners through their paces.  Many new members came along, and although apprehensive of perfoming in a field, with distractions around, found that their dogs gave a very good impression of an obedient dog!!  Thank you for everyone who helped Dave load and unload the lorry, for those who put up the marquee and for all who came along.  Also to Liz, Lou, Jenny and Judith for a successful event.

Hope to see you next weekend at Staddiscombe and / or the other demonstrations in the next few weeks.
